Trowbridge/Melksham cycle way
Has the WC cabinet member got the nerve to do what many think is correct?
The WC cabinet member will be looking at this matter next month.
The narrowing of Trowbridge Road, with light standards etc. re-located is pretty certain to go ahead. The road is scheduled to get a 20mph limit.
The closing of Devizes Road has had the plans for the turning head drawn up but, as there were objections to the closure, the decision will be made by the cabinet member.
Which way will he jump? Pro those who want the road closed, or pro the 'few' who object? Will his reasoning be published, whichever way he goes?
