A few people have asked this important question!

When the Electoral Commission looked at the constituency boundaries a year or so back, it seemed that we would be in the new Melksham & Devizes seat.

However, when the final consultation period started, we had been moved in to South West Wiltshire (the same constituency as Trowbridge).  Despite strong representations to leave us 'as is', all protestations fell on deaf ears 

So, Hilperton will be in a different constituency compared to every other village north and east of Trowbridge......

If I didn't know that the EC was 'politically neutral', I would suspect that there are 'other' reasons for 'moving' us!
