A Wiltshire Police speed enforcement officer was out today.

Speed enforcement session carried out 13th June 2024, between – 09:40 and 10:20, at Marsh Road, Hilperton,

2 vehicles have been issued with notices of intended prosecution for excessive speeding.

The roads monitored are 30 MPH and the fastest vehicle was captured at 36 MPH.

Depending on previous convictions and history, 2 Drivers will be offered a speed awareness course.

• 0 Drivers will face £100 fine and get 3 Points.

• 0 Drivers will be summoned to court.

Proceedings will now be undertaken to ensure the most appropriate outcome for the offenders takes place, which includes checking for MOT, Insurance & Point Totters.

Captured footage will be analysed for other offences like seat belts and mobile phone use.
