Trowbridge Ruby Football Club were given permission to move to their new site in Hilperton. The application to build on their existing facility at Green Lane, Trowbridge will be recommended to the Secreatary of State for approval.

The outline planning application for another 150 houses on part of the 'H8' land between Paxcroft Mead and Larkrise School was,despite being recommended for permission, refused on highway grounds and over supply. Please note that this is only a temporary reprieve as the site will eventually be built on as it has been allocated for housing in the district plan.

The application for a new house adjacent to The Manor House in Broughton Gifford was approved.

The meeting ran from 7.00pm until just before midnight and when it closed there were still eight applications to be considered; these were deferrred until the next meeting in three weeks time.
