You have six weeks to make your views known.
The draft, which has been sent to the Government for consideration, sets out a framework for open space and recreation policies and objectives.

Planning policy manager Mark Russell explained: "We have been through several stages of public consultation, and we have worked through a number of preferred options. This draft will be considered at a public inquiry, so we are now inviting people to comment in advance of that. Any views will be considered by the inspector."

He added: "We are asking people to say whether they support the DPD or whether they want to change it. If any suggested amendments relate to specific sites, these will be consulted on in the New Year."

The submission draft and its supporting sustainability appraisal are available for inspection during normal opening hours at:

- West Wiltshire District Council Office, Bradley Road, Trowbridge

- The libraries in Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury

- The town council offices in Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury

Copies of each document are also available on the council's website

Tony Phillips, the Council's planning portfolio holder, said: "This is a very important document, as it sets out how we intend to provide and manage open space, leisure facilities and recreation over the coming years. My thanks go to everyone who has contributed to the plan's development so far, as these views have helped us to ensure that the document reflects what local people want."
