Wiltshire Council mentioned in Private Eye - again
WC has been 'featured' twice in two months.....
WC has been featured in 'Rotten Boroughs' twice recently.
In the current issue the article is about (quote) 'Spiteful bullying by Wiltshire council of two small independent local newspapers which dared to run a couple of "critical" stories that Tory council leader Richard Clewer didn't like'.
The previous article highlighted the relationship between the new WC 'communications' portfolio holder and Cllr. Clewer (she's his wife).
It's good to see that Private Eye carries news like this - otherwise no one, outside the 'chosen few' at County Hall, would ever know what goes on there.....
Perhaps the public will remember this sort of thing when the WC election comes along next May.
