Church Street has given WC a headache.

You might have noticed that a length of double yellow lines (DYL) has re-appeared along Church Street.

My thanks to the residents who have contacted me about this.

It would seem that the WC mapping system did not show the 2019 TRO which removed various DYL along Church Street.

After an exchange of emails between myself and WC, WC has now advised as under.

"I have arranged for the newly laid lines to be blacked out as an interim measure, I am hopeful that this will be done today by Council Officers.

"The plan is to then carry out a permanent repair as soon as we can get a work gang booked in."
