Appeal for witnesses following an attempted burglary.

The police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary in Hilperton Marsh in the early hours of this morning.

At around quarter past midnight a property on St Marys Gardens is believed to have been targeted for a high performance car parked on the drive way.

The offenders were thought to have been disturbed by a dog inside the home and left empty handed.

The police are asking people living in the area to check doorbell or CCTV to see if they captured any suspicious activity.
