Persimmon Homes needs to do some sewer work.

The planned closures run from 5th May to the 1st August.

 

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Temporary Closure of: Bridleway 33 (Part), Hilperton (Ref: TTRO 10302)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Bridleway 33 (Part), Hilperton; from its junction with Middle Lane to its junction with B3105.

To enable: Construction of foul and storm sewer to serve new 68 unit development.

Alternative route: via B3095 – A361 – Victoria Road – Middle Lane and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 05 May 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 13 June 2025.

Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.

Temporary Closure of: Middle Lane and Albert Road (Part), Trowbridge (Ref: TTRO 10403)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Middle Lane, Trowbridge; from its junction with Victoria Road for its entire length. B) Albert Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Middle Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.

To enable: MJ Evans Construction Ltd/Persimmon Homes Ltd to carry out new foul and storm connections and associated works.

Alternative route: via Albert Road (unaffected length) – Osborne Road – Victoria Road and vice versa.

The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025 and the closure will be required until 01 August 2025.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
