Temporary Closure of: A361 (Part), Hilperton and Semington Ref: TTRO 10386
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A361 (Part), Hilperton and Semington; from its roundabout junction with C393 to its roundabout junction with High Street.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road markings, ironworks and associated works.
Alternative route: via A361 (unaffected length) – A350 – A363 – A361 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 4 days.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
Please note that the C393 is Devizes Road, so it is the section past the rugby club that will be closed. The quickest alternative route is via Ashton Road and the Stoney Gutter traffic lights.
