The new administration has appointed posts to all political groups.
The new Lib Dem administration has stuck to its pledge not to monopolise appointed roles only for Lib Dem councillors.
This is the first time that Wiltshire Council will see the chairmanship of committees awarded to anyone other than members of the controlling political group.
Every political group, except the 'Salisbury Labour and Independen' group (only two members), has received at least one position.
Reform UK has accepted one post and I have been offered the postion of Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee - a position I have accepted. In addition, an Independent has accepted a place on the WC Cabinet.
If this is the way that the new administration intends to conduct business, the next four years will be very interesting.
