Wiltshire Local Plan.
Update on progress.
The Planning Inspectors have confirmed that the Wiltshire Local Plan Review 2020-2038 will move to the next stage of the examination process.
This follows the recent focussed hearing session on the ‘duty to co-operate', which took place on 24 June 2025 at the Civic Centre in Trowbridge.
The next stage will consider the soundness and remaining matters of legal compliance of the plan.
The inspectors have indicated that the hearing sessions for the next stage will take place in the autumn.
