WC has announced 'long term' closure dates until 02/02/26.

Temporary Closure of: Footpath 3 (Part), Hilperton (Ref: TTRO 10719)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 3 (Part), Hilperton; from its junction with B3105 to its junction with Footpath 47, Trowbridge.

To enable: construction of housing development.

Alternative route: via Footpath 47, Trowbridge – Victoria Road – Middle Lane – B3105 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 15 September 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 02 February 2026.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
