Sarah Content has finally called it a day.
The resignation doesn't come as a surprise to many people. For whatever reason(s) Sarah had not seemed to be very 'active' recently and her resignation was, perhaps, inevitable.

An election can be called by two electors requesting that an election be held and there is then a 'run-in' period of about thirty five days.

I anticipate such a request being made very promptly; lets hope that the political parties can 'arrange' their candidates and aren't caught napping!
