What will happen in a couple of weeks?
Will the Lib Dem administration survive?
It would seem that the Conservatives/Reform UK are planning to oust the Lib Dem administration.
An alternative budget is apparently being prepared and, should that be adopted by the council, it would seem inevitable that a vote of no confidence will be called against the current Leader of the council (Cllr. Ian Thorn, Lib Dem).
The budget setting meeting will be held on 24th February - but the 25th has been put in members' diaries as a 'coninuation' date!
Could be a very long day - or two......
