The parish is at a crossroads.
What will happen with the WC Local Plan basically being kicked into touch?
I presume that all the developers will emerge from the shadows and bombard WC with planning applications.
Will the 'Greater Whaddon' site be applied for 'in full' i.e. 1,300 houses plus shops, school, etc.?
Will Doric Developments leap at the chance to stick some houses on the newly acquired site on Trowbridge Road?
Will the development off the rugby club roundabout get permission?
I guess that its a compliment that everyone seems to want to live in Hilperton - especially when you allow for the 2,500 houses being built at Ashton Park.....
Still, I'm sure the developers won't give a hoot for bats (or any other living creature), and won't give a fig about the traffic chaos that will ensue if their development goes ahead. So long as they make their £££££, why should they care?
