Temporary Closure of: Whaddon Lane (part), Hilperton.
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Whaddon Lane (part), Hilperton; from the property known as number 77 Whaddon for approximately 50m in a southerly direction.
To enable: British Solar Renewables to carry out solar farm entrance, remedial works to damaged verges/laybys and associated section 278 works.
No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will will recommence on the 22nd April 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 for 3 days
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
