Hilperton Gap housing proposal.
What the submission said ...
To put the record straight, the letter 'offering' the parcel of Fare Trust land as a potential development site (albeit some years in the future) was sent by Pegasus Planning Group dated 11 June 2007 and signed by Mark Fox.
The letter stated "This land will be promoted by Persimmon Homes ... including adjacent land parcels in separate ownerships (Lester and Kisielewski) for development post construction of the relief road".
As an apparent sop, it goes on to say "...it is intended that the land on the Hilperton side of the relief road will remain undeveloped and has potential for greater informal public access to be delivered in conjunction with new development."
The letter is a public document and can be inspected at the WWDC offices - ask for Mark Russell, Planning Policy. Alternatively, I have copies to spare if you encounter any problems.
