An easy solution if WCC can just get on with it.
Accordingly, one of my first phone calls as your new WCC councillor was to ask what progress had been made on the earlier suggestion of Sarah Content and Trevor Carbin to adjust the phasing of the traffic lights at the bridge.

The benefit would not only be to commuters, but to local people who wouldn't have a (slow) procession of cars spewing out pollution.

I was assured that something will be done but it is a situation that obviously needs constant monitoring as WCC seem to pay only lip service to helpful suggestions.
