Legal challange fails.
Unitary Council gets the green light.
Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, with Congleton Borough Council, undertook a judicial review of the Secretary of State's decision about Local Government Reorganisation. The review was unsuccessful, however leave to appeal was granted.
The Appeal has today been dismissed. At this stage this is all the information that I have received, but I will post the 'legal stuff' as and when it is passed to councillors.
