Trowbridge Police Station to re-open to public.
Commomsense prevails with the new Chief Constable.
Trowbridge police station will re-open next month for 6 days per week between 9.00am and 8.00pm.
A police spokesman described the move as a "return to normality" following an unfortunate decision by the force which failed to take into account the needs of the public.
I am pleased to see that our new Chief Constable is not afraid to un-wind poor decisions made in the past. You never know, he might even decide that more police patrolling the streets is better PR than the 'targeted police response' that we get now.
