WWDC planning department will be shut next Wednesday morning.
Following a number of recent staff changes, WWDC has taken the unusual step of arranging a morning's training for the whole section. This is to bring new members up to speed with working practices and procedures, and to act as a refresher for existing staff about the new working practices and procedures introduced late last year.

Members of the section will not be available to take either telephone calls or to meet customers at reception between 0900 - 1300.

Planning reception will be open for enquiries in respect of planning Policy, Building Regulations and Local Land Charges.

Telephone calls to the section will be rerouted to the Customer Service Unit.

The closure of the office for the morning is publicised by notices at Bradley Road and on the Council's web site.
