WCC unable to help local transport initiative ...
No financial assistance for school transport to St. Laurence.
A school bus service would have to be run on a commercial basis at a cost of approx. £15 per pupil per week. The bus would collect from the Semington/Paxcroft Mead/Hilperton/Staverton area but will now only get off the ground if there is sufficient 'private' interest.
