Hill Street/Church Street junction, Hilperton.
WCC to look again at this junction.
Various suggestions were made to the council but there was always a reason given why the idea wasn't practical and the area highway engineer would not support the installation of new kerbing and/or pedestrian barriers.
However, he does agree that pedestrians would feel intimidated by a large HGV going round the corner. Therefore, he has agreed to review the white lining at the corner.
There is a possibility of moving the Whaddon Lane give way lines back and moving the centre line over to encourage drivers to take a wider line around the corner and stay away from the footway.
