Marsh Road remains a 'core site' for the camara van.
"A recent 7 day survey showed the average speed has fallen to 31.7 mph. In addition the 85th percentile (the top 15 speed results) also shows a fall from 39 mph to 36.7 mph. (35 mph at the 85th percentile is considered normal.)

The survey prior to the speed check showed that 74% of all vehicles were exceeding the limit. After the speed check this had reduced to only 52.4%.

During the 3 years prior to the establishment of the site there had been 5 injury collisions in its length of which 2 were either fatal or serious. In the last 3 years since we established it there have only been 2 slight injury collisions recorded as occurring within its length.
