'Dangerous' play in Warminster.
The national theme for the event - 'Give Us A Go!' - is encouraging children and young people to take part in play activities which are a bit different and which involve an element of (managed) risk, so the day will involve risky elements as well as good old fashioned play.

Activities will include skateboard coaching (beginners or more experienced - please bring your board and safety equipment with you), a climbing wall, archery, jewellery making and a putting green. Younger children will be able to take part in parachute games, learn how to play marbles and jacks and other games, participate in creative arts and painting workshops, have their faces painted and go on bouncy castles and inflatable slides.

In addition, the park has fantastic facilities including a well resourced play area, with some equipment specifically-designed for disabled children, an adventure play ground, a large paddling pool (bring your towels) and a boating lake with pedalos. All activities - including coaching - will be completely free of charge and are open to everyone of all ages, so bring your family, toddler group, youth club, friends, grandparents - all welcome.

To join in the fun, simply turn up anytime between 10am and 3pm on the day (pay and display car parking available opposite the park in the Assembly Rooms car park), bring a picnic and enjoy yourselves.
