New bus service to St. Laurence School, BoA.
Minerva Travel are starting a trial school bus service.
The service will run for the autumn term and be reviewed in late December.
It is principally aimed at students attending St Laurence School from those areas, but will also be available for members of the public. Pick up times are available from Minerva Travel and it will arrive at St Laurence School at
8:35am. The bus number will be M4 and the return service will leave St Laurence at Ashley Road at 3:10pm.
There will be a one-way fare of £1.50, which is a flat rate for the journey.
Since there are presently no direct bus links between Semington, Paxcroft Mead, Hilperton or Staverton and Bradford-on-Avon, this is a
very good opportunity to establish a permanent service.
There is certainly a demand for the service and I hope that it will be well supported by the community.
As with all commercial bus services, a minimum level of take-up is required to ensure a viable
service, so please use it if you can.
