If the litter situation seems worse than usual - here's why.
I have chased the matter with WWDC and have received the following information:-

PMLC is owned by Attivo with the site managed, on their behalf, by a firm called John Ryde Commercial (JRC).

JRC is responsible for employing contractors to keep the site clean - including the emptying of litter bins and cleansing the area around the recycling centre.

They used to employ English Landscapes (EL) to carry out the cleansing contract, however the contract with EL expired at the end of August.

The contractor who took over from EL has not been performing to the standard required and the contract was terminated on Friday 12th September.

JRC is aware of the complaints and has assured the council that the new contractor - who takes over today - will deal with them as a matter of urgency.

Hopefully, we will see an immediate improvement and a site that is, in the longer term, kept tidy and presentable.
