Marina residents are unhappy about a proposal for temporary moorings.
However, the lagoon is largely surrounded by housing; residents are concerned about the impact on local wildlife and amenities. The applicants have produced an ecological survey, and claim any impact can be minimised. They also claim the application is in line with local and national planning policy.

The application will be considered by Staverton Parish Council at their next meeting and I have asked for it to be called before the WWDC planning committee if it would otherwise be approved.

There will be a meeting for residents this coming Tuesday evening at The Old Bear. Start time is 6.45pm.

As at today, the application has been returned to the agent by WWDC due to insufficient information. The application should not have been validated in its present form.
