Ernie Clark. Hilperton Division, Wiltshire Council.

There is a surge in demand for allotments.
After looking at current demand it was decided that the proposed site could comfortably provide 44 allotment plots with a small turning area for vehicles.

Trowbridge has a shortage of allotments and planners have agreed that in principle there are no constraints that might lead to the rejection of the application.

If no objections are raised and timescales continue as planned the allotments should be ready for the growing season in 2009.

In a separate scheme, Hilperton Parish Council is continuing to bring their allotment scheme to fruition. If you live in Hilperton parish and haven't yet registered an interest in the scheme, please contact me or the parish clerk.
