The chairman has called a special meeting to consider just one item.
The site is due to be auctioned next week and the PC will consider whether it interested in purchasing the land and, if it is, what is the maximum sum it would pay. It will also consider exactly what use would be made of the land if it were to be owned by the PC.

There is a restrictive covenant on the land in favour of The Grange restricting use to housing, agriculture or horticulture.
