Grant process for 2009/10.
The new council will have to look at the grant structure.
Elected members to the new unitary council will play a vital role in the build-up to grants for 2010/11, especially those with local abd district funding knowledge.
They will be asked to communicate on details as well as on any general developments proposed.
This is yet another reason to be sure that your WC councillor has his/her finger on the pulse of local issues.
