Staverton Marina traffic calmimg and 20mph limit.
Plans are moving forward to traffic calm and have a 20mph zone.
The scheme for the extension to Warren Road utilises speed cushions which are designed to minimise the impact to buses, as they can straddle the speed cushions.
Thestfield Drive falls into two sections. To the west of the Marina Drive roundabout it is not yet adopted and traffic calming features will be constructed before WCC adopts the road.
Between Marina Drive and Hammond Way the road is designed as a standard 7.3m wide carraigeway with footways on both sides. Accordingly, the 20mph zone will commence at the residential development as speed limits tend to be obeyed better when the start of the speed limit is located at a point where there is an obvious reason for its existence.
