NHS poll on Trowbridge cricket club plans.
Your chance to tell the NHS what you think.
To take part in the poll click here. The wording on their site is slick, mis-leading, obviously emotive and slewed to encourage a 'Yes' vote for building at the cricket club, but just how much thought has NHS Wiltshire put into any alternative site? For instance, how about using land adjacent to Paxcroft Mead along West Ashton Road? The new facilities will need a large car park (this is what is planned for the cricket club field) so why not relocate a mile and build next to the largest (and still expanding) population site in the area?
It might even solve the ongoing pub/medical facilities dilemma at Paxcroft Mead local centre?
A similar poll conducted by The Wiltshire Times recently found that over 80% of peoploe wanted the new facilities built elsewhere.
