The venue is Trowbridge Civic Hall, and it will take place between 3.00 and 7.00pm on Monday 15 November - not too much notice given, I note.

An outline planning application has been submitted for this site but, as I recall, the District Plan Inspector stated that this development could not proceed until a relief road for Hilperton was 'secured'. Unless I've missed something there is no 'secured' relief road. Persimmon couldn't be indulging in a touch of brinkmanship here, could they? I would suggest that this outline application is premature, and the timetable needs to be adjusted somewhat as houses being built in time for Easter 2006 is surely an attempt to 'rail road' decisions through.

I realise that the development site is not actually in Paxcroft Ward, but I feel that this exhibition needs the widest possible publicity as it will have a direct impact on the standard of living for many residents in the Ward.
