A mini roundabout is proposed for the B3106/B3107 junction.
The scheme is not quite as advertised in June 2007.

Due to a number of technical issues it will not be feasible to install the low level central islands initially proposed between The Tollgate Inn and The Ham On The Green public houses.

However, it is proposed that they will be retained in a painted format, along with associated hatching markings and reduced lane widths. Previous experience of this type of psychological feature has encouraged a reduction in vehicle speeds and the county council sees no reason why this area will not benefit.

Prior to works commencing, it is intended that a newsletter will be delivered to the surrounding properties confirming the start date, duration and outlining the extent of the work to be undetaken.
