More allotments for 'Trowbridge' villages.
The parish council has found a possible plot of land and consulted with Wessex Water about getting a water supply laid on. It now has to attempt to agree a price with the landowner and discuss occasional vehicle access with a third party.

At Southwick, a planning application for an extension to Southwick allotments was approved by the WWDC planning committee on Thursday.

At the request of Southwick Parish Council, planning officers have suggested that priority should be given to Southwick residents when it comes to allocating the allotments.

The site is just over 1 hectare and will provide 44 new plots with a small turning area for vehicles. The current waiting list for Southwick is 37 people.
