Is your driving licence still valid?
Do you have a photocard licence?
Full paper licences normally run out on your 70th birthday. After that you must renew every three years.
>However, photocard licences need to be renewed every 10 years with a new photo being supplied at the time of renewal. Your actual driving entitlement will normally be valid until you are 70.
It would seem that many drivers are not aware of the 'ten year rule' and could be driving with an expired licence. If you have a photocard licence please check when it was issued!
