Another bit of spin from Jane Scott and her mates at County Hall.
Wiltshire Council starts life on 1st April and would-be photographers of all ages are being asked to help mark the countdown in a special online competition.

Photographs of numbers from 100 down to 1 are wanted to help mark the transition to the new council – and three lucky entrants could win an iPod for their efforts.

The start of Wiltshire Council marks the biggest change in local government in Wiltshire for more than 20 years. It will see the county’s current five councils replaced by just one with a worrying lack of accountability to the public.

Entries to the competition can be made by visiting the www.wiltshire.gov.uk website where the entry form is on the home page or by visiting the Wiltshire Council folder on http://www.flickr.com/groups/wiltshirecountdown or on http://en-gb.facebook.com/group.php?gid=50031769251 or http://forms.kennet.gov.uk/officeforms/photo-number-comp.ofml.

A winner will be drawn each month with three iPods as prizes.
