Staverton planning appeals.
Three appeals have been lodged against recent planning refusals.
The three applications are:-
04/00874 Land adjoining The Slipway, Staverton. Persimmon Homes.
04/00875 34 dwellings on land adjoining the canal, The Slipway, Staverton. Charles Church Developments Ltd.
04/00941 64 dwellings, phase 7b Marina Drive, Staverton. Persimmon Homes.
It has been agreed to decide all three appeals by means of Public Inquiry at a date to be set. If you wish to comment in writing you can do so until 14 January 2005. If you wish to do so, please contact me and I will provide you with the Planning Inspectorate reference numbers, address etc.
I guess that it is just a coincidence that two different developers have decided to persue similar paths with identical time scales; after all, when the council asks developers to work together they are normally advised that such a thing is unthinkable.
