How strong will the Village Policy Limit be?
The plot is outside the Village Policy Limit, but the developer says 'I strongly believe that the delivery of such an ambitious flagship scheme is the overriding factor'.
Personally, I believe that planning policies are put in place for good reasons and wanting to build 'an ambitious flagship scheme' isn't one of the exceptions allowed for in the appropriate WWDC policy.
It will be interesting to see what the response from neighbours is if a formal planning application is made.
