Head of New Housing at WC. £47,854 can't be bad.
The new WC is actually advertsing one of its new jobs.
The strap-line to the advert is 'Can you beat the credit crunch?' At that salary I rather think the answer is 'Yes'.
Interestingly, on almost the same page of 'Inside Housing', there is an advert from Exeter City Council which is seeking a 'Housing Enabling Manager' with a very similar (to my amateur eye) job spec. The salary? Between £35,953 and £38,575.
