Carry on as usual in Wiltshire !
I am advised that, contrary to the press reports, there will be no changes to the services in Wiltshire that will accept your Wiltshire Bus Pass. You can’t use it on National Express coaches but you never could.

You will be able to use it on the Salisbury Park & Ride just as you can now. You can use it in Connect2Wiltshire services and it will either give you free travel or a discount rate just as now (ask when you book). It will still allow you free travel during off peak times everywhere else in England.

None of this is anything to do with Wiltshire Council. The Department for Transport issued a press release last week about the minimum national specification for bus passes and it has been widely misinterpreted. The Wiltshire Bus Pass already offers more than the minimum specification and this will continue unchanged.
