Why is Wiltshire's council tax so high?
Wiltshire - one of the worst for council tax.
Other councils have not needed to suqeeze their electors so badly.
The WC budget requireed a council tax increase of 3.5% for Band D but:-
31 unitary councils have a lower percentage increase
8 of the 9 new unitary councils has a lower percentage increase
21 of the remaining 27 counties have a lower percentage increase
Where, exactly, are the savings that the Conservatives promised us? I'm beginning to wonder whether Mrs. Scott and her cronies have realised what a costly business this new council is and, having done so, they are now doing their best to lose the June election. Then, of course they will be able to 'point the finger' at an administration of a different political hue amd blame them!
