Hilperton wins award.
Success at the third attempt.
In the 2009 'best kept village' competition, Hilperton has won the 'large village' category for west Wiltshire.
The village now goes forward to compete against the three 'large villages' from other parts of Wiltshire to find an overall winner for the county.
This is the first time that the village has achieved first place and thanks must go to everyone that helped to keep it looking clean and tidy.
Judging for the county award will be sometime in the next month or so.
