Road works in Hilperton this week.
Apparently, some parts of Hilperton still have lead water pipes.
Wessex Water will be carrying out 'lead replacement' repairs this week in Devizes Road.The work is scheduled for 4th to 6th of August and traffic will be controlled by two-way signals.An alternative, and quicker, route is to use Hilperton Drive which, of course, also saves wear-and-tear on your car suspension as there are no speed-humps on the main road.
