Lawful Development Certificate for an Existing Use
Proposal: Existing use is for the storage of touring caravans within the barn shown above and grass area opposite. I have been storing a varied number of caravans in this barn location since 2012. I started using the farm buildings for storage as we lived on Whaddon lane from 2006 and the farm owner was a friend and neighbour of ours. Myself and my wife lived on Whaddon lane for 18 years and used the barns for storage for at least 13 of those years. The touring caravans are dry stored in the barns and grass area for the use of seasonal hire. Visually, it has a very low impact on the local area due to its location. There is no noise associated with this storage and the caravans only need to be accessed for a short window each year. DRAFT: Certificate of lawfulness for existing storage of caravans within the barn and surrounding area.
